I took 300 portrait photos of strangers I found interesting. This was my favourite Arts/Crafts

So much character and depth!

He was sat outside a charity shop. When I asked for the photo he searched for his sunglasses because he felt he'd look cooler with them. In the end he couldn't find them and settled for smoking as I took the shot. I was blessed to meet him

The light is perfect. The smoke, the look in his eyes. Excellent.

What was your second favourite?

I don't believe I can reply with a picture sadly. Weirdly enough the moment it comes to deciding a second favourite it becomes incredibly difficult but I have a few. One that sticks out to me was an older gentleman on November 11th, remembrance Day. He stood all day watching the band's, marches and minute silence etc. Poppies covering his jacket and a look in his eyes of raw sadness and emotion. Clearly he was very patriotic and I respected that.

Cool shot; he has a lot of character and strong lines.

Thank you, it was usually that sense of character I felt at first glance that led me to approach someone for a photograph

I love everything about this photo. ❤️ Great job! I love to see the others.

Thank you so much, my biggest struggle is finding a place to post the entire collection in full detail. Currently my Instagram has 3 photos that contain 100 each in colour. Sadly the quality is entirely squished through there 😭

Care to share your IG? This is great. Would be awesome to see more

My Instagram should be: jammy.pearson

The post is about 4-5 in

Sadly the quality isn't perfect as every image is compiled into a 100 photo grid for efficiency and in colour sadly. I hope to get the finished black and white high detailed versions posted somewhere else one day, just not sure where yet

This man has seen some shit. That's what his eyes tell me

After this shot I realised how important it really is to just approach people sometimes. Such a friendly guy I met purely because this project forced me out my comfort zone

I can almost hear him saying. "Ya know, I could tell you a story"

Honestly if I wasn't nearly always mid traveling when I took these photos I'd have stopped and spoken to him for hours
