Iran owes a Revolution to women. Respect to all brave women of Iran.

I hope they get their freedom

Not until the cancer that Islamic theocracy is removed

2

u/Sartres_Roommate Sep 26 '22

Progress comes in increments. Women voting in Christian US is barely 100 years old. It sucks how regressive many things are now but things like these brave...like amazingly brave, women give me hope.

The difference is Christianity heavily influences politics not dominates it.

Iran is dominated by a Mafia theocracy.

Islam is a cancer as is Christianity and Judaism.

If the crazy Christian right wingers took power with theocracy America would be as bleak as Iran

u/ProngExo Sep 25 '22

Ah, good ole anti-Muslim American propaganda.

18

u/ErdtreeSimp Sep 25 '22

"I'm against organized oppression"

"Damn nazi"

Classic

-13

u/ProngExo Sep 25 '22

Huh? Who are you quoting?

9

u/4chanisperfect Sep 25 '22

you my man, look the islam is big beautiful religion but people who use it as a tool for their country are idiots that destroy that religion.

Iran uses it as a instrument of hate and terror.

3

u/WahCrybaberson Sep 25 '22

I'm pretty sure the key word of their argument was theocracy and not Islamic. Just as a problem in the US would be the perceived rise of a Christian theocracy.

Some of the pictures coming out Iran detailing what’s happening are just awesome. Referring to one picture of this bad ass women in a flannel shirt burning her hijab. This is just the most anti-establishment, punk rock, stick it to the man (quite literally) movement

13

u/Slouchingtowardsbeth Sep 25 '22

How can we in the west support them?

17

u/ErdtreeSimp Sep 25 '22

Not going backwards again. If Iran sees another countries going the way they go, then the pressure will be much less

30

u/sunnydaysahead2022 Sep 25 '22

These women are so brave and heroic.

I’m humbled by their courage.

11

u/SuperArppis Sep 25 '22

That picture is badass...

6

u/Americaisaterrorist Sep 25 '22

Women are far more educated than men there, holding more STEM graduates and PhDs than men.

6

u/XelfinDarlander Sep 25 '22

I hope these women burn it all to the ground. Radical nonsense needs to be put to an end.

20

u/OrganizationMedium54 Sep 25 '22

We women should fight for our rights like they are doing here. Our bodies, our right

Joker prediction

3

u/hajawr12 Sep 25 '22

Wish there was something I could do for you girls.

Adobe getting the job done with this revolution

4

u/Broad_Goat4549 Sep 25 '22

Religious oppressors all over the world are evil and need to be abolished. (looking at you, US)

2

u/tunaricelemonjuice Sep 26 '22

They chant: women, life, freedom.

Remember their slogan. These women are braver than most people I have ever seen in my life.

If they get arrested, they will get beaten and possibly raped.

However, their courage knows no bounds.

Kudos to you all.

1

u/e_j_white Sep 25 '22

This is so bad ass!

Do the Iranian protesters have a slogan, like "Slava Ukraini"?

10

u/West_Ad7781 Sep 25 '22

Women! Life! Freedom!

2

u/Sydardta Sep 25 '22

Name a religion where women get to control men and tell them what to wear and how to think and what to believe...

u/Cultural_Cry_1667 Sep 26 '22

It's not a protest, it's chaos, people killing each other and u guys are happy???

1

u/ELIAXJA Sep 27 '22

we happy because iran is going free

1

u/Responsible-Bike3995 Oct 13 '22

Your answer is compliance? The only way to overthrow a dictator ship rulership is through bloodshed. This is not the fucking Dr. Phil show

-17

u/Mezzoski Sep 25 '22

If russian men had same balls as this girl, war in ukraine would be over in days.

6

u/spacehxcc Sep 25 '22

There are mass protests all over Russia right now. What do you mean?

-1

u/Mezzoski Sep 25 '22

Right now I see most russian men are protesting on the Russia'a borders. If there are still mass protests in the cities, they are not visible from the outside. Writing on the forum that you don't like it is NOT a mass protest.

6

u/spacehxcc Sep 25 '22

There were like 1300 arrests of protestors in the last couple days alone and that’s just the ones we know about. My main point though is that it’s weird of you to try to put blame on the random civilians in a country that doesn’t even have free elections. They didn’t choose this shit.

-2

u/Mezzoski Sep 25 '22

Iran is not known for democracy as well, Yet the WOMEN seems to completely shatter the government.

Russians are just sheep. They prefer to trust the leaders. Even those who used to have internet and can use google translator. Yes 1300 arrested. And the rest in this time were watching/making movie to post on some website for free karma. Untill they are next.

5

u/spacehxcc Sep 25 '22

You seem to have a unique dislike for Russian people.

Yeah the women in Iran are brave as fuck, but so are those protesting in Russia with similar consequences looming over their heads. Neither group makes up the majority of people in those countries. Neither group has a lot of power in their countries. They are still out there nonetheless, it’s very commendable.

I take a lot of issue with blaming the common man in any country for the actions of their government. They have no power over that. Even in democracies they have almost no power over it. Point the finger at the people who have power not those that are victims of the system itself.

1

u/Mezzoski Sep 25 '22

It is not about "blaming" common man. But at this point it is obvious even for russians that road to Ukraine is basically one way. Some come back crippled , but most in plastic bag. If even this. They are issued useless weapons. There is a ton of posts about it. How much more evidence you need to be aware that you are going there to die.

This is just the issue of basic survival instinct, which seems to be extinct in those people.

3

u/spacehxcc Sep 25 '22

I mean I think they are aware of it. There’s a reason Putin felt the need to impose a draft

1

u/Mezzoski Sep 25 '22

And looks like most of them will answer the call and proceed one behind the other to the slaughterhouse, hoping for miracle.

6

u/Hop_Hound Sep 25 '22

Oppressors rarely do. The Ukrainians, however, do and that's why they're not being over ran as easily as so many people thought they would.

-1

u/adamhanson Sep 25 '22

Why is there always fire.

6

u/TwistedJusty Sep 25 '22

Fire represents death and destruction as well as life and fertility.

2

u/Dragoness42 Sep 26 '22

Photographers pick the best moments to publish, and fire makes the protesters look extra badass and the whole situation generally more intense.

1

u/lokipukki Sep 25 '22

Fire destroys life, but from the ashes new life grows in the wake.

-4

u/CoWood0331 Sep 25 '22

Yeah! Protest women!

-7

u/ROBlackSnail Sep 25 '22

All 60 of them ? Woo ...

-13

u/ROBlackSnail Sep 25 '22

Pro tip : all protest pictures are made so that they filled with as many protesters as they can. If you can see the protesters faces clearly, there aren't too many people at all. I would say less than 1000.

And less than 1000 is hardly representative of the nation's will.

6

u/Broad_Goat4549 Sep 25 '22

Same with forced pregnancies in the US? The vast majority support women's health but the christian taliban is forcing births. so gross.

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '22

[deleted]

5

u/Broad_Goat4549 Sep 25 '22

For sure. The christian taliban is a minority. The only thing they do is terrorize young women at health centers.

Hundreds of millions protested banning abortion in the the US. Biggest protests in the world and the US.

-2

u/Makoreactors Sep 25 '22

Looks like the end of the joker movie

1

u/ClerkCasual Sep 26 '22

why did u get downvoted
