I just appreciate that the man is giving addresses in a tactical shirt.

It's smart PR. I haven't seen a picture of him in a suit and tie since the war started. He's presenting himself as a defender of Ukraine fighting for his country, not just some politician espousing rhetoric.

Remember the beginning of the war? He was kitted up on the streets of Kyiv talking with soldiers while Putin sat in a suit behind a 50 foot long dinner table.

If Machevelli were alive today he'd be singing Zelensky's praises and using him as an example as a highly effective leader.

Yes we remember a few months ago.

u/jasenkov Sep 23 '22

Dude is also young and in good shape, and has been to the front. Putin can’t even be seen with his generals in front of him.

u/KingoftheMongoose Sep 23 '22

Well, you see, there's this big table that is keeping him from connecting with other humans. Like, really big table.

u/Odin_Christ_ Sep 23 '22

The biggest goddamn table you' e ever seen in your life.

u/your_mind_aches Sep 23 '22

And on that table? The second most beautiful chocolate cake you've ever seen in your life.

u/fohpo02 Sep 23 '22

A really big table with many pixels connecting it to other table far away

u/HellonHeels33 Sep 23 '22

Ah I loved the Putin green screen mic incident

Must be a 30 metre long table at min

u/Necroking695 Sep 23 '22

He’s pretty jacked too

This mans the real version of what Puty pretends to be

u/bott1111 Sep 23 '22

Tbh... If I could get away with smart casual at work everyday I would to

u/slopcrusher Sep 23 '22

It’s not really a “tactical shirt” as much as it is a athletic shirt with a zipper. Anyways, it still sends a similar message. He’s portraying himself as a working class man defending Ukraine like every other Ukrainian.

u/The_Bitter_Bear Sep 23 '22

I mean, dude looks fit and good like that. Meanwhile Putin has become an old bloated bag.

Since sadly PR is a big aspect of keeping support they seem to be making some smart plays on that front.

u/Gluta_mate Sep 23 '22

why "sadly"? it is what it is, not good nor bad

u/JumpyButterscotch Sep 23 '22

Tactical? Because it has a zipper? Ha!

u/Smegmaliciousss Sep 23 '22

Nobody knows what is hidden in that pocket. Pretty tactical if you ask me.

u/dontcallmeatallpls Sep 23 '22

It's got the little velcro patch holder on the shoulder.
